| Early September. Drove to Fairy Lake near Port Renfrew, set up camp, paddled for an hour just before sunset. Slept. Got up at 6:30; out on the lake by 8:00. Headed down the San Juan River for about a mile, then heading back to camp. Next day the fog and wind came in. |
